Surveys are a great way for nonprofits to start using data. This video outlines how you can use surveys to start doing data collection. Surveys (or questionnaires) are a great research method to start collecting data to help you make decisions and improvements. You can use surveys in your evaluation process to collect outcome data. For example, you can design a survey for your developmental evaluation or help your collective impact initiative.
